 Announcement:   DIRTBIKE-ACTION a Recognised ACU Promoter will organise the above event.  Under the ACU National Sporting Code, the ACU standing regulations for Enduro, British Enduro Championship Regulations, these Supplementary Regulations and any Final Instructions that may be issued. 

 

 

 

Eligibility: Open to any rider who is in possession of an appropriate ACU or SACU licence or obtains a One Event Licence for this event.

 

 

 

Any rider who does not hold a current ACU or SACU Enduro licence must complete an application for a day licence  for which a £15.00 fee is payable in advance with this event entry.

 

Full licence holders must show their current licence at signing on or a day licence fee will be charged; for insurance purposes there can be no exceptions to this rule.

 

THIS EVENT IS RUN UNDER THE ACU BASIC INSURANCE SCHEME, THERE IS NO PERSONAL ACCIDENT COVER I/we understand and accept that as the Supplementary Regulations state the Insurance cover for this event is “Basic” there is no Personal Accident cover for Competitors and Liability cover in respect of any claim made by third parties is limited to £10 million and £5 million for Medical Mal-practice.

Start: located off Baxtons road, Helmsley, North Yorkshire YO625EP. The venue will be signed in from Helmsley market square check final instructions for final details camping is available from Friday it is a condition of the camping that you take your rubbish home if you don’t like this don’t camp. There will be a camping car parking team to park you follow their instructions.

 

 

 

Course:  Flowing woodland trails suitable for all abilities, there are 2 public roads crossing in this event it is the rider’s duty to ensure it is clear to cross

 

 

 

 

 

SPECIAL TEST   DETAILS OF SPECIAL TEST /TESTS WILL BE IN THE FINAL INSTUCTIONS   NO MOTOR BIKES OR OTHER FORM OF VEHICLE CAN GAIN ACCESS TO THE TESTS. Tests can be inspected from 9am Friday till 9pm

 

 

 

START Saturday   10am        START. Sunday      9 am these may alter check final instructions

 

 

 

Signing on: Friday 11 may 4 pm- 8 pm all riders and marshals must sign on before commencement of the event, final instructions entry lists will be published at www.dirtbike-action.co.uk 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Machine Examination:   Friday 4 march 5 to 8 pm riders must present there refuelling mat and ACU stamped helmet

 

 

 

 All machines must comply with current ACU Enduro Regulations as per the current A.C.U. handbook

 

 

 

Competition number plates, numbers on 3 sides of the machine and any sponsor’s logos that may be used this will be announced in final instructions

 

 

 

There is no overnight parc ferme it is up to the riders to secure there machine; riders must place their bikes in the start compound  as per acu handbook each day

 

   

 

 

 

Noise Machines will be randomly tested   as per ACU Control of Exhaust Noise Regulations Any machines appearing to have modified or aftermarket silencers will be automatically tested.

 

 

 

 ENTRY FEES WILL NOT BE REFUNDED in any circumstance or TO ANY RIDER WHOSE

Start order will be championship, expert, clubman, 040, 050, ladies, sportsman

Route Markers: Day-Glo orange arrows and taped areas. Marshals’ instructions must be complied with including stopping if requested. Failure to do so will result in immediate disqualification.

 

 

 

Re-fuelling:  is a blue taped area and this means walking pace failure to comply will result in disqualification, refuelling must only take place in the designated area. All crews must provide a suitable Fire Extinguisher. No smoking in the re-fuelling area and parc-ferme.

 

 

 

Refreshments: a catering van with a full range of hot and cold snacks will be available at the start area

 

From noon friday

 

Toilets: will be at the start/finish area.

 

Important: the landowners will be attending the meeting, so it is imperative that all riders and attendants follow the A.C.U. code of conduct.

 

Naturally, course cutting, abuse of officials, foul language, etc. will result in immediate exclusion.

 

No power washing

 

It is a condition of your entry to take your rubbish home with you

This event is held under the National Sporting Code of the Auto-Cycle Union, the Standing Regulations, Supplementary Regulations and any Final Instructions issued for the meeting.

The ACU National Sporting Code and Standing Regulations are published annually in the ACU Handbook.

Entry declaration: I / we the undersigned apply to enter the event described above and in consideration thereof:-

  • I / we hereby declare that I / we have had the opportunity to read, and that I / we understand the National Sporting Code of the ACU, the ACU Standing Regulations, such Supplementary Regulations as have or may be issued for the event, and agree to be bound by them.
  • I / we further declare that I am / we are physically and mentally fit to take part in the event and I am / we are competent to do so.
  • I / we confirm that I / we understand the nature and type of event we are entering and its inherent risks and agree to accept the same notwithstanding that such risks may involve negligence on the part of the organisers or officials.
